Emilie Carole Zinsmeister

Emilie Carole (Lex) Zinsmeister was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world at the age of 75 after a valiant battle with cancer in her home surrounded by loved ones on May 10, 2022. She was born to “Booby” Lex and Laurine Poehnert Lex on June 6, 1946. After graduating from Boerne High School, she went to cosmetology school and then decided on the dental field where she worked as a dental assistant for many years. Emilie loved spending time with her family and friends, researching family ancestry, planning her class reunions, restoring old trunks and especially traveling. Emilie is survived by her husband of 57 years, “Butch” Zinsmeister; her two children, Ron and Pamela Zinsmeister and their spouses- Deborah Zinsmeister and Michael Laudadio; her five grandchildren: Emma Zinsmeister, Kyle and Shelby Allen, and Jackson and Grayson Laudadio; and her sister, Jackie Adam, all of Boerne. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and the funeral service will follow on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with all services at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home.
