<p>ORANGE Linda Ruth (Wilcox) Chapman, 77, of East Myrtle Street, died May 10, 2022 after a long struggle with her health.</p> <p>She was born on November 2, 1944 to Ruth and Clifford Wilcox of Berlin, CT and attended Berlin High School where she graduated in the class of 1962.</p> <p>Linda was the Queen of the Berlin Fair.</p> <p>Linda loved to help people and volunteered for many things during her life. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, dispatcher for the New Hartford, CT Fire Department, member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Athol, volunteered many years at the Orange Food Bank and served countless community meals to her neighbors. She was on the Franklin County Technical School Committee for a time and mother to many exchange students from around the world.</p> <p>Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Reynolds Chapman of Orange; her sons, Nathaniel Dillenback and his wife, Jacki, of Millers Falls, and Robert Dillenback of Charlton; a daughter, Laura Alberti of Atlanta, GA; a step son, Niklaas Chapman of Torrington, CT; a sister, Susan Keefe and her husband, Jim, of Berlin, CT.</p> <p>She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Kathryn Barefield and her husband, Drew, of Chicago, Major Daniel Dillenback and his wife, Quincey, of Concord, Rachael Dillenback of Turners Falls, Raffaela and Gabriella Dillenback of Charlton; and great grandchildren, Aiden and Cadence Dillenback, Rhiannon Smith and Charlotte Dillenback; along with many nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Besides her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Cliff Wilcox and David Wilcox.</p> <p>A calling hour will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at Witty&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange.</p> <p>A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. ORANGE Linda Ruth (Wilcox) Chapman, 77, of East Myrtle Street, died May 10, 2022 after a long struggle with her health.

She was born on November 2, 1944 to Ruth and Clifford Wilcox of Berlin, CT and attended Berlin High School where she graduated in the class of 1962.
