Jerry Lee Healey, Sr.

October 9, 1941-May 10, 2022

 

ELKHART-Jerry Lee Healey, Sr., 80, passed away May 10, 2022, at Waterford Crossing in Goshen.  He was born October 9, 1941, in Osceola to Warby & Dina (Kidd) Healey.

  On February 11, 1961, he married the love of his life Ruby “Ann” Taber; she preceded him in death on August 16, 2013.  He was also preceded by his parents, and 2 brothers, Jack Healey and John Healey.

  Surviving are 2 sons, Jerry (Tina) Healey, Jr., Chris (Kimi) Healey, a granddaughter, Jessica Healey, 2 siblings, Jean (Keith) Rideout and Jody Healey.  Also surviving in a sister-in-law, Jean (Ernie) Geske, 3 grand dogs, Hoss, Lady and Charlie.

    Jerry was a member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) for over 10 years, South Bend Bowling Hall of Fame, Elkhart Bowling Hall of Fame, enjoyed bowling professionally all across the country and also like to golf with family and friends. 

  A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Michael’s Italian Restaurant 528 Harrison Street Elkhart, IN 46516.

  Memorial contributions may be given to your local youth bowling league.
