Terry B. "H" Hinderliter Obituary

Terry B. "H" Hinderliter, 67, of Valier, passed away on Tuesday May 10, 2022.

He was born May 26, 1954 to Irvin and Dorothy (Nulph) Hinderliter in Coolspring.

H was a member of the Valier United Methodist Church and attended One Life Church, Punxsutawney. H was a 1972 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. He started working at a very young age, baling hay with local farmers and he also had a paper route. After high school he worked as a carpenter in construction for various companies then worked for Delta Drilling, Defelice Construction, and Fayette Resources, H owned the former Half n' Half Pub in Punxsutawney. H enjoyed vegetable gardening, playing pool, reading history books, watching western movies, and walking the trail with his various dogs he had over the years.

He is survived by his son Jesse I. Hinderliter, Pittsburgh, two sisters, Ruby Hinderliter and Virginia Dove, both of Valier, a brother Harry Hinderliter and wife Betty, Butler, special friends, Mike London and wife Julie, Dee Richardson and wife Jeanine, Carrie and Remi, numerous nieces and nephews and his K-9 companion Hobo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cynthia Hinderliter, two sisters, Elsie Rent, Betty Hinderliter, and a brother Charles Hinderliter.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Pastor Guy Smith officiating.

Interment will take place at Valier Cemetery, Valier PA.
