Pauline Singauk Immingan – Oquilluk passed away peacefully at Alaska Native Medical Center on May 4th, 2022. A service will be held at Kehl’s Legacy Funeral Home on May 24th, 2022, viewing at 11am, followed by the Service at 12pm, located at 11621 Old Seward Highway Anchorage, AK 99515. The burial will take place at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery at 2pm. We knew she would want nothing more than to have her son Ryan Steven Oquilluk’s ashes buried with her. Ryan’s birthday is the next day on the 25th, it will be a joyous reunion for them both. Pauline was born in Teller, Alaska on April 15th, 1949, to William & Maggie Oquilluk. She and her family moved to Nome, Alaska in her childhood she remained there until 1988 when she moved to Anchorage with her son Ryan. Auntie Pauline was a loving, happy, & caring person, as well as one tough lil lady. A great mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin & friend to all who know her throughout her life. She enjoyed crouching, cooking, preparing & feasting on Eskimo food, coloring, crossword puzzles & playing bingo from, time to time. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son Ryan, as they were like two peas in a pod, as Auntie Alice would say. Everyone says they remember Auntie Pauline as always smiling and happy and always having a great time while being around her. She enjoyed being around friends while listening to Elvis and playing a game of cards. She also enjoyed berry picking, greens picking, and going tom cod fishing. Auntie Pauline is survived by her Sister Margaret A. Waltz of Nome, AK & her Brother William D. Oquilluk of Anchorage, AK. All her niece’s & nephews: Jesse Merculief & Lynette Larsen - Melissa, Preston, Jon Dean, Allison, & Mason Kulik – Floyd Oquilluk – Gary Pauwok – Brianne, Ashlynn, Jamie, Kenneth, & Baby Jesse Knutsen – Jason Merculief, as well as many more in Anchorage, Nome, & Teller, AK. Auntie Pauline is preceded in death by her son Ryan S. Oquilluk, her parents William & Maggie Oquilluk, her brothers: Albert, Issac, Rolland, Fred, Clifford, Ronald, & Arnold Oquilluk. Her Sisters: Irene, Etta, Maryann, & Alice. Also, her nephew Jon Dean Pushruk. As well as many loved ones from around Alaska and the lower 49. Pallbearers: William Oquilluk Jr., Floyd Oquilluk, Gary Pauwok, & Spencer Knutsen. Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Merculief, Thomas Waltz, William Dan Oquilluk, Preston Kulik, & Jon Dean Kulik. Arrangements have been entrusted to Legacy Funeral Homes Kehl’s Chapel.
