James Edward Baker

 

James Edward Baker, 66 of Trenton, departed this life on Friday May 6th, 2022, at Capital Health Hopewell Hospice with his daughter by his side.

 

Born in Marion, S.C. he had lived in the Trenton area for more than 25 years. Jimmy as he was known to many, was educated in the Harry County School District in Conway S.C. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ.

 

Son of the late James and Tommie Mary Crawford-Baker and brother of the late Celestine Jordan (Ronald), Ruby L. Tye (Melvin), Arthur Jerome Baker and Cynthia Carmichael. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Otasha Little, a grandson, Wyman Wy-keem Omarion Franklin, a granddaughter, Janae Omariona Kelly and a great-granddaughter, Khaliya Kardi’er Franklin; a sister, Mary June Boone (Sherman); a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ. Viewing will begin at 9am til the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Ewing Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
