Glen Edward Duffett<br>Saginaw, Michigan<br><br> Beloved husband, father and papa passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare-Harrison Campus. Age 71 years. The son of the late Edward and Edna (Brandt) Duffett, Glen was born on October 21, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Glen proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era, serving on the USS America. He married Mary Ciszewski, his loving wife of 51 years, on November 14, 1970. She survives him. Glen was employed at General Motors/ Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years before retiring. After his retirement, Glen established Duffy’s Electric that he owned and operated until 2018. He was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church where he also volunteered as church treasurer for over 20 years. Glen was also a member of V.F.W. Post #1566 and Salina Pioneer Lodge #79. He loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing. Glen also enjoyed working with his hands doing woodworking and repairing small engines. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Glen had a larger than life personality and truly never met a stranger.<br><br><br> Surviving besides his wife Mary are one son and one daughter, Christopher (Kristi) Duffett, San Antonio, Texas; Michelle (Troy) Price, Freeland; six grandchildren, Hayley, Stratton, Peyton, Marrissa, Jack and Gabriella; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale Duffett and Eddie Brandt.<br><br><br> Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 4432 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. John Soyster will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered by V.F.W. Post #1566. Honoring Mr. Duffett’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Faith Ev.
