Andrew Andy' V. McCullough Outdoorsman, golfer was foreman in Delaware Twp. Andrew "Andy" V. McCullough, of 35 District Road, Delaware Township, formerly of South Pymatuning Township, passed away at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell, after an extended illness. He was 50. Mr. McCullough was born Aug. 9, 1959, in Sharon to Vincent E. and Geraldine F. Hawk McCullough. He attended Notre Dame School, then graduated in 1977 from what is now Kennedy Catholic High School, both Hermitage. Andy was employed for 20 years at Furnace Mineral Products of Delaware Township, where he was a foreman. He was of the Catholic faith and belonged to Duck's Unlimited and North American Hunting Club. Andy enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and the great outdoors. His wife, the former Debera Kay Hughes-Grimes, whom he married April 11, 2008, survives at home. Also surviving are: a daughter, Savanna McCullough and her fiancé Richard Moore, Sharpsville; a stepdaughter, Jessica Grimes, Mercer; his uncles, Richard Hawk, South Pymatuning Township; and Clyde Hawk and his wife Sandra, Mercer; a granddaughter, Kendra E. Moore; and several cousins. Andy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald W. McCullough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3208 Wilmington Road, New Castle 16105; or Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Colonial Square, 1965 Shenango Valley Freeway, Suite 2, Hermitage 16148.
