Ethel Jane Palmer

<p>Ethel Jane Palmer of Noble, Oklahoma, passed away from this life to begin her eternal life in Heaven with her Lord and Savior on May 11, 2022, at the age of 73. Ethel was born in Waynoka, Oklahoma on October 19, 1948. She grew up in Northern Oklahoma and graduated from Waynoka High School.</p> <p>Ethel was a kind, loving person who was always upbeat and happy. She was a good-hearted spiritual woman who was known for her distinct laugh. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies like shopping, playing games on her phone, crocheting, reading, and watching soap operas, especially her favorite soap, Days of Our Lives. Ethel was very dedicated to her church and enjoyed attending services the Victory Christian Church in Norman, Oklahoma. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Ethel touched the hearts of many with her kindness and genuine love for others. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and although it is our loss, it is Heaven&rsquo;s gain.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Palmer, a daughter, Cheryl Jenkins, and a brother, Chester Hayes.</p> <p>Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, daughters Tiffany Derby of Purcell, Oklahoma, and Samantha Scott of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and sons Brad Palmer, and Michael Mingus-Palmer, both of Noble.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 11:00am through 8:30pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the John M. Ireland &amp; Son Funeral Home &amp; Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.</p> <p>Graveside services will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Waynoka Cemetery. The Waynoka Cemetery is located from U.S. Highway 281 on the south side of Waynoka, turn east on Ash for 1 mile; the cemetery will be on the north side of the road.</p>
