Lewiston- Carmen L. Duguay, 77, a resident of Wales, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, with her loving family by her side at CMMC in Lewiston. She was born April 9, 1945, in Lewiston, the daughter of Louie Tanguay and Theodora (Fortier) Tanguay. She was educated in the Lewiston schools. On March 22, 1975, in Lewiston, she married the love of her life, Phillippe A. Duguay, who passed away on November 30, 2021. She worked at a Falcon Shoe Manufacturing Co. and later as a housekeeper for over 25 years at Odd Fellows Nursing Home. Carmen was a member of the Greene Baptist Church in Greene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, being outdoors, listening to Christian and country music, watching wrestling and Lawrence Welk on television with her husband and loved animals. She is survived by her two daughters; Susan Miquelon of Lewiston, Michelle Cloutier and fiancé, Carlton Corbin of Winthrop, 3 grandchildren; Logan, Brianna, and Kristie Miquelon, 3 great-grandchildren; Phoenix, Rosey, and Miles, her sister, Anita Tanguay, many nieces and nephews and her loving dog Oliver and her cat, Mittens. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, Phillippe A. Duguay, a daughter, Diane Miquelon, a grandson, Christopher Miquelon and two brothers: Edward and Pierre Tanguay.
