Cheryl Lee Farmer

Cheryl Lee Farmer, 78, wife of Joe Farmer, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home in Versailles, Kentucky. Born October 26, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Edwin and Myrtle Lorraine Gilbertson Kennell. Cheryl loved spending time with her family and was a faithful member of St. Luke Church in Lexington, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Gaylen Kennell. Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 60 years, Joe Farmer, Versailles, children, James Allen (Michelle) Farmer, Versailles, Christopher Lee (Kathryn) Farmer, Lexington, Sherry Lynn Farmer (Larry) Aytes, Versailles, brother, Roger Kennell, The Village, Florida, sister-in-law, Debbie Kennell, grandchildren, Halley Morgan Farmer (Wesley Thomas) Ehn, Versailles, Rachel Elizabeth Farmer, Versailles, and Sydney Aytes, Hawaii. Private Interment will be at Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles, Kentucky. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 16, 2022 at St. Luke Church, 2351 Alumni Drive, Lexington, Kentucky. Condolences may be expressed to the family here on Cheryl's tribute wall.
