Of Penn Hills, formerly of Regent Square, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 following complications of a stroke; Sister of Barry (Kathy) Wetzel of Norfolk, VA; Aunt of Todd (Gretchen) Wetzel, of Princeton, KY, Kathleen (Jim) McGrady of Norfolk, VA, and Mark (Kelly) Wetzel of St. Louis, MO; Great aunt of Maggie and Anne Barrett Wetzel, Kathleen, Elizabeth, and James McGrady, and Emma Wetzel; Cousin of Joanne Driscoll of Houston, TX; Preceded in death by devoted partner, Bill Kucic; survived by his children, Kristine (Doug Nesler) Baker and Bill Kucic, Jr.and 7 grandchildren. Daughter of the late Roy H. and Clara P. Wetzel. She was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (then, Carnegie Tech) followed by earning her Master's Degree from Duquesne University. She was both a teacher and guidance counselor for many years through the Pittsburgh Public Schools. Friends received, Friday, 5:00-7:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Service will be held, Saturday, 10:00 am. Private Interment to follow in Saxonburg Cemetery.
