Eileen (nee Naughton) O’Brien, 91, of Clifton, passed away May 10, 2022. Born in Ballygar, County Galway, Ireland, Mrs. O’Brien came to the United States in 1949 settling in New York City. She has resided in Clifton since 1986. Before her retirement, Mrs. O’Brien was employed in Food Service with GAF / ISP in Wayne. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.

            She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick O’Brien in 1990; one loving son, Declan O’Brien; one dear grandson, T.J. O’Brien; three brothers, Brian, Matthew, and Patrick Naughton; and sisters, Katherine Fortune, Mary O’Connor, and Theresa Vandermark.

            Survivors include: two sons, Desmond P. O’Brien and his wife, Karen and Brendan T. O’Brien; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kelsey O’Brien; one brother, Sean Naughton; sisters, Peg Leavy, Ita Farrell and Nuala Furey.  

            Visitation Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning for family and close friends. Private interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
