<p>Decatur - Funeral for Jordan Owens, 29, of Decatur will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM.&nbsp; Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.&nbsp; Mr. Owens, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born January 3, 1993, to Wayne Owens and Gale Herring. He was preceded in death by his father and grandmother Melba Reeves.<br /> Survivors include:<br /> Mother - Gale (Joel) Herring<br /> Brothers - Brad Crawford, Shane (Jennifer) Crawford, &nbsp;Wayne (Debbie) Owens<br /> Sisters - Lesha (Kendall Pulliam) Phillips, &nbsp;Kim (Allen) Smith<br /> Loving Friend - Sarah Tait<br /> Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins<br /> Pallbearers will be family and friends&nbsp;</p>

Dang, I hate hearing about this. I knew JO from high school. We weren't close really but we were cool with each other because we had outpatient rehab together. So sad. Condolences to his close friends and family.

Gale, I didn't really know him, unless I met him when he was young. A very handsome young man. Looks a lot like Daniel's Jordan. Love all my cousins.

I will never forget Jordan coming with Melba to meet the Baites. What a sweetheart he was and then going with us to Muscle Shoals to swim with the Baites cousins. I am so sad. He will always have a special place in our hearts. ️
