Carol Ruth Watson, 67, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home. She was born on October 3, 1954 in Marceline, MO to Phillip & Ruth Wiseman Buckingham. She married Scott Keith Watson in August of 2014 in Fort Madison, IA. She worked at Sheaffer Pen and later at Fast Break in Fort Madison. She enjoyed going on drives and attending her grandchildren’s events. She was a member of NARVRE. Carol is survived by: her husband: Scott Watson of Fort Madison, IA; 2-sons: Jason Pope of Fort Madison, IA & Brian Pope of Mt. Pleasant, IA; 1-daughter: Ashlea Adams of Montrose, IA; 7-grandchildren and 1-brother: Phillip (Marie) Buckingham, Jr. of Crown Point, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents & 1-sister, Bonnie. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and no services are planned.
