<p>Born in Riverside, CA in 1929. Ralph passed away peacefully on 5-6-2022.&nbsp; Ralph has always been larger than life.&nbsp; Tall in his youth, he kept growing to about 6-8 and made good use of his height playing basketball.&nbsp; A college All-American and one of the leading scorers in the country he chose to attend Whitworth University as they offered him and a close friend both scholarships.&nbsp; He set quite a few records and went on to play for New York and then Philadelphia.&nbsp; He met the love of his life while in Spokane so he returned to marry Shirlee Nelson.&nbsp; He was a teacher at Glover Middle school for over 30 years.&nbsp; Ralph and Shirlee retired together and would spend most winters in Indio, CA and the rest of the time in Spokane.&nbsp; Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Shirlee and his daughter Kathy Duncan.&nbsp; He is survived by his sons Matt, Dan, son-in-law Bruce Duncan, his grandson Travis Duncan and great grandson Aiden Duncan.</p> <p>Based on his wishes no service will be held.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>To share memories of Ralph and leave condolences for the family please visit www.hennesseyvalley.com</p>
