Marilyn Coy Huber Huber, Marilyn Coy (Boyce) 1944- 2022 Marilyn was born on August 17, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Emerson and Illa Boyce. She went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio following a valiant battle with Chron’s and Parkinson’s disease. A loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother for 57 years she is survived by a brother Bill (Jennifer) Boyce of Tecumseh, MI , adoring husband Terry, children Chip (Ingrid) of Grand Rapids, Mi, Mindi of Clarkston, Mi. and Randall (Angela) of Akron, Ohio. She is the loving Nena/Nana grandmother to Olivia, Brandt, Trey, Braeden, Blake, and Emerson. She also loved her kitty, Bella. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Carolyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A dedicated mother and teacher, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Following her marriage to Terry in 1965 she resided in nine different cities in 22 houses. Known for her creative decorating she turned new homes into a place of love and nurturing for her family, visitors, and surrounding neighbors. She was especially admired for her Christmas Holiday decorations. She enjoyed volunteering at Ronald McDonald Houses, Make A Wish Foundation, and various church activities including leadership in the Community Bible Study groups. Throughout her life she exhibited the love of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She brought light into every place she entered, especially sharing her love of Jesus. She was the force and " True North" of the family and because of her love of Jesus, many others have joined her in faith in Him. Family and friends are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life for Marilyn on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 701 Church St, Plymouth Michigan, 48 170. A luncheon will follow. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Ronald McDonald House of Northeast, OH, or Telling the Truth Ministry per the family’s request.
