Betty M. Thompson-Minder, 75 of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home.  Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, Muscatine.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Betty.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Betty Marie Thompson was born on September 29, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of  Leroy Paul and Betty Jane (Fulton) Thompson.  On March 6, 1971, she was united in marriage to Robert C. Minder.  The couple later divorced.  Betty was an insurance agent at Prudential and also managed several restaurants and worked as a CNA for many years.  Betty enjoyed doing needlepoint, reading and spending time with her family.

Betty will be deeply missed by her son, Gregory Douglas of Davenport; his sons, Michael and Noah; daughter, Joanna Minder of Bettendorf; her children, Matt Edwards and Claire Edwards; sisters, Tracy (Rick) Phillips of Moline, Illinois; Roxanne (Jim) Schmidtt of Rock Island, Illinois and Dawn (Tom) Kerns of Davenport; aunt, Margaret Sprague of Muscatine and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother in infancy, Charles Thompson.
