Jean Hogaboom age 84 passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at MWMC. Jean was born on May 24, 1937 in Hudson, MA, The daughter of the late Napoleon Audette and Irene Rexford. She grew up in Richford VT where she met her forever love Dick Hogaboom they married in January 1954 moved to Jericho and had six children. <br><br>Her beloved Dick passed away in August 1974 and at that time Jean moved to Montgomery where she met Pete Soule and his family and continued to raise her younger children. During her younger years she worked in the hospitality field but as time went on her passion shifted to taking care of people she was a giver to all and never asked for anything in return. Jean loved her family and her time with them more than anything. <br><br>Jean is survived by her three children Vickie Hogaboom and Steve Laughlin of Hyde Park Sam and Lisa Hogaboom of West Enosburg Falls Jodi Tomasi and Donny Henn of Johnson and Jesse and Karen Soule of Montgomery. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mark Macha and April Macha of Richford, Wendy Boyce and Heather Germain of Richford and Stephanie Germain of Kentucky Danielle Taylor of Milton, Erin Hogaboom of Manchester CT, Scott, Jared and Ethan Hogaboom of West Enosburg Josh Demar of Stowe, Lauren Rausseo of Fort Lauderdal, FL, Katelyn Desautels of Jeffersonville, Logan Hogaboom of Saint Albans and Gage Hogaboom of Richford not to mention several great grandchildren whom she adored. Jean also left behind her most loyal companion of all her dog Scooby. Also surviving Jean are her sisters Rose Cadieux, Carol Davis, Diane Bigelow, Roger Pinsonneault, Brian Audette, Donna Jewett and Allen Audette.<br><br>Besides her parents and stepmom Rita Audette, Jean is predeceased by her husband Dick and longtime companion Pete Soule her daughter Linda Todd son Rick Hogaboom and son Shawn Hogaboom she also had to say goodbye to her brothers Leo Audette, Chris Audette and Sister Fran Bartlett.<br><br>Friends and family are invited to attend Jean‘s celebration of life on May 22, 2022 at 1 PM at the VFW on Route 15, Hyde Park Vermont.
