Dolores R. Rosko Obituary

Dolores R. Rosko, 90, of West Windsor, NJ, passed away, as she wished, peacefully, at her home on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Her loving son Jeff, and Mitzie, were by her side and her beloved grandson Jerry was with her via phone. Born in Trenton, NJ, Dolores was raised in Chambersburg and graduated from Trenton Central High School. She went on to attend Rider College. Dolores resided in Washington Twp., before settling in West Windsor, NJ. She had a strong work ethic and over the years held positions as a secretary, bookstore manager and travel agent. Dolores also focused her energy in the community. She was an active member in the Village Grande community; she served as a District Committee person for West Windsor Township, and worked the election polls. She was a communicant of St. David the King R.C. Church of West Windsor and a former member of St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church. In her spare time Dolores enjoyed being a member of the St. David’s Club, the Italian American Club, The Dance Club and volunteering at the MCCC Kelsey Theatre. Predeceased by her parents, Reno and Angelina (DiNunzio) Candelori; her husband of 55 years, John S. Rosko, Sr.; her son, Jerry; and her brother, Ralph Candelori; she is survived by her sons, John Rosko, Jr. and Jeffrey M. Rosko; her grandson, Jerold J. Rosko; her brothers, George and Donald Candelori; her several nieces, nephews and cousins; her many friends at the Village Grande at Bear Creek; and her beloved Fox Terrier, Mitzie. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 10:45 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 12 Noon at St. David the King R.C. Church, 1 New Village Rd., Princeton Junction, NJ 08550. Entombment will follow at Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum in Robbinsville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dolores’ memory to a charity of the donor’s choice or, for those desiring, to a charity for the benefit of children with cancer or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
