Lisa Renee (Mayes) Anderson, 58, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. Lisa was born in Greenville, Kentucky on April 25, 1964 to the late Shelby and Catherine (Talley) Mayes. With a heart of gold, Lisa was a kind and honest woman. She enjoyed watching football and basketball, especially University of Kentucky and Philadelphia Eagles. Above all, Lisa loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Lisa is survived by her husband of 22 years, Gary Anderson; daughter, Staci Alvey; sons, Anthony Mayes, Justin Alvey, and Andrew Alvey; sisters, Shirley Gee (Tom), Mary Gish (Jason), Sandra Paul, and Karen Todd; and 11 grandchildren. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Faye Williams, Patricia Williams, and Sharon Gee; brothers, David Mayes, Donald Crull, and Joseph Crull. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.
