Wilbert R. Bosley

JEFFERSON – Wilbert R. Bosley, age 91, of Jefferson, passed away on May 6, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Pearl (Potter) Bosley; together they shared over 68 years of marriage. Wilbert was born in Glenville on July 28, 1930 and was the son of the late Russell and Amy (Braun) Bosley. He worked as a truckdriver and won safety awards for his driving abilities. Wilbert enjoyed walks, riding his motorcycle and bicycle, horseback riding, and family vacations to Niagara Falls, NY, Natural Bridge, VA, and Roan Mountain, TN. Wilbert especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Olivia Pearl Bosley who was the apple of his eye; together they did many things including going on walks, playing games, going out to eat and spending time together. Every morning Wilbert would walk 1 mile to watch Olivia get on the school bus. In addition to his loving wife Pearl, Wilbert is survived by his children Linda Bosley of Spring Grove and Jeffrey Bosley and wife Michell of Spring Grove; two grandchildren Olivia Pearl Bosley and Nathan Bosley; and two great-grandchildren Savannah Bosley and Tucker Bosley. He was preceded in death by his two children Joanne Bosley and Gary Bosley who passed away in 2005. Funeral services and interment will be held privately by the family under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove.
