Francis J. Yerka “Frank” passed away suddenly on May 6, 2022, at the age of 76. He is the beloved husband of LuAnn (nee Emberger). Devoted father of Raymond Kelly and Cheryl Przybyszewski (Mark). Loving Poppy to Rhyan, Jack, Mary Catherine, and Great Poppy to Nova May. Loyal brother of Ed Emberger (Joanne), Gayle Emberger, Karen Mason, and the late  Marie Bordei and Dawn Emberger. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. 

Frank was raised in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. After, he worked as a roofer and was a member of Local 30 for over 30 years. Frank was a devoted family man who would do anything for anyone, especially his grandkids. He loved to “spoil” them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Saturday May 14, 2022 beginning at 9am in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia PA 19125. Funeral service 11am. Interment private.
