Robert Michael Hoffman, beloved father, papa, uncle, cousin, brother, and son, passed away from Pancreatic
Cancer peacefully at his Tacoma home on May 6, 2022. Robert was born November 24, 1948. He was the
first of three children born to Marjorie and Robert Hoffman, followed by Katherine & Gayle.

Robert, known as Bob by most, grew up in Tacoma and after graduating from Mt Tahoma HS enlisted in the
Air Force. He became part of the 35th SPS K-9 handlers at Phan Rang AB, where he created friends that he
called brother for a lifetime.

Bob met the love of his life, Joleen, working at Fred Meyer in the early 2000’s. They created a home together
that was welcoming to all. His companion in life's adventures great and small, they shared many happy years
together before she passed from cancer in 2018.

Bob is survived by his children: Wendy & Jason; daughters: Sarah & Chelsea; sisters: Kathryn, Mary, & Gayle;
his grandchildren: Otto, Karina, Jake, Libby, Kingston, & Sailor; & great-grandchild: Ruby. He will be truly
missed by all his family and friends.

Services to be held on June 8th at 11 AM in Puyallup at All Saints Catholic Church: 204 6th Ave SW, Puyallup,
WA 98371. Small gathering after at Bob’s family home in Tacoma (address to be provided at the service or via

Celebration of Life to follow in Mayfield Lake, at family Cabin this summer. Information will be posted on his
Facebook page with date and time.
