Daniel "Dan" Joseph Read

Daniel “Dan” Joseph Read, 70, of Burlington, KY, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, surrounded by his family and his wife, who he adored. Born in Covington, KY, on March 11, 1952, he was the son of the late William and Evelyn Read. Dan was a 1971 graduate of Lloyd Memorial High School and went on to work in the commercial flooring industry. He later moved into residential flooring and design. Dan enjoyed camping, cooking and being around people. He was very social, and his family meant everything to him. He loved spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother: Patrick Read. Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years: Brenda Read; son: Andrew (Erica) Read; daughters: Danielle (Gary) Vaughn and Brenna (Michael) Frederick; brother: William Read; sisters: Ruth Peeno and Mary Lou (Ken) Buechel and his 11 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until the Memorial Service at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the Belleview Baptist Church, 6658 5th St, Burlington, KY 41005.
