<p>Ann Aldridge, age 81, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Myrtle McAdory; her sisters, Faye Jordan and Carol Jean McAdory; her first husband, John White; and her daughter, Carolyn Esther White.</p> <p>Ann is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert &ldquo;Bob&rdquo; Aldridge; her children, Rhonda White of Gulfport, MS., Nancy White Parkerson (Charlie) of Winona, MS., and Carol Aldridge McMurtry (Dennis) of Katy, TX.; her siblings, Lee McAdory (Betty) of Georgetown, TX., and Joan Walker (Ralph) of Kosciusko, MS.; &nbsp;her grandchildren, Megan, Connor (Margaret), and Shelby McMurtry of Katy, TX., and Ryan Parkerson (Alaina) of Memphis, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Ann attended Kosciusko High School where she played on the basketball team, she was employed with Coast Radio Group for over 40 years where she became the office manager. Ann had many hobbies which included gardening, growing plants, reading, working puzzles, listening to southern gospel music, and helping others. She was an active member of the Bel-Aire Baptist Church for almost 50 years.</p> <p>The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice employees, Tess, Sarah, Katherine, and Sam, also Ann&rsquo;s sitters, Diana and Dorothy for their aid and care. They would also like to thank everyone for their outpouring of love through prayers, calls, text, messages, food, and gifts.</p> <p>A visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 9:30am-11am at Bel-Aire Baptist Church. The service will be at 11am. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to go to the Alzheimer&#39;s Research Association, St. Jude, or Gideons International.</p> <p>Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
