Jamie M. Kendellen Bend, Oregon Obituary

Jamie M. Kendellen

Jamie M. Kendellen passed away on May 2, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Mack, children, Mayson and Caelen, parents, Barry and Brenda Taylor, sister and best friend, Dorian Heagerty Ritenour, sister, Tracy DeMario, aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Jamie was predeceased by her grandparents, Richard and Jacqueline Taylor, and George and Betty Nelson. Jamie was born in Maryland where she was raised and met her husband, Mack. They moved through Colorado and Montana to Bend, Oregon where they made their home for the last twenty-two years. Jamie was an amazing mother and loved her children with all her heart. Mayson and Caelen were the lights of her life and worked tirelessly to care for them and make sure they were happy. They will be loved and cared for always because of her hard work. Jamie graduated with an Accounting, B.S. from Linfield College Oregon, and passed her CPA exam at the top on her first try. During her successful career she worked as a Financial Statement Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and finally landed her dream job as CFO at the non-profit East Cascades Workforce Board where she was able to help people the way she hoped to make the most impact on their lives. Jamie volunteered her time and accounting skills to the Children’s Center in Bend for a time, which was near and dear to her heart. She enjoyed running, swimming and mountain/trail biking, and held a black belt in Taekwondo. She loved playing video games with Mayson and Caelen most of all. Jamie was a sweet, kind, and gentle soul who we loved so very much. We take comfort that she is now finally at peace. We will miss her greatly. Jamie will always be in our hearts she will never be forgotten and she can never be replaced.
