Robert J. Hoey

Robert J. Hoey passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He was born April 9, 1949 to Robert and Eileen (Schingen) Hoey. Bob liked to hunt, fish, and camp. He loved trapping. Spending time with his grandkids was one of his favorite things to do. He enjoyed driveway beers with the neighbor. Bob always had a story to tell. Bob will be dearly missed by his wife Chris; daughter Rachel (Mike) Schneider; grandkids Sophia and Spencer; sister Jane (Dan) Barr; nephews Ryan (Pam) Barr, Cory (Anne Pittl) Barr, Andrew (Zach Welch) Barr; niece Mandy (Joey) Galligan; Chris’s siblings Mary Beth (Robert) Koenen, Julie (Joe) Ketter, Patty (Jerry) Kraus, Ann Lallier, Cathleen "Cha" (Don) Kildsig, Robert (Pam) Breister, Laurie (Tom) Stark and Richard (Debra) Breister, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Jean and John Fowler and other relatives. A Celebration of Bob’s life will take place on May 21, 2022 at the End Zone Sports Bar, 507 North Main St, Fond du Lac at 1:00 P.M. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the amazing doctors and nurses who assisted with Bob’s care over the years.

Foot of the Lake Fishing Club

Bob was an active Board member of the Foot of the Lake Fishing Club. He spent countless hours collecting prizes and donations for the Kids Fishing Outing. He will be greatly missed.
