Marie V. (Sissy) Wroblewski, 89, passed away peacefully Friday morning, May 6, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
The wife of Klaus Wroblewski, she was born in Bridgeton on December 31, 1932 to Nicholas and Grace Leonte DeGregorio. Marie was a graduate of Bridgeton High School Class of 1951.
Marie was employed after High School at Price Label. It is there that she met the love of her life and together Marie and Klaus would have celebrated 62 years of marriage this year. She was also employed by Rovner’s Department Store, Jamesway, and Upper Deerfield Twp. Schools as a Cafeteria Aide before retiring.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and also a member of the Class of 1951 Reunion Committee for many years. The matriarch of the family, she was the most caring and compassionate person and lived a very happy and fulfilling life. She loved spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also had a passion for cooking and baking and we all enjoyed many delicious family meals together.
In addition to her husband Klaus, she is survived by two loving daughters, Susan McHugh (Gene), Patricia “Trish” Sully (Ron DeMaio), grandson Thomas Brown (Nicole), granddaughters Gabrielle Sully and Chelsea Sully, great grandchildren Hayden Brown and Colton Brown , her sister Phyllis Gentile (Charles), sister-in-law Barbara DeGregorio and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased in addition to her parents by brothers Nicholas DeGregorio, Anthony “Greek” DeGregorio, nephew Charlie Gentile, niece Phyllis Blazie, and just recently, her cousin and best friend Deedee Dahms.
Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross-Immaculate Conception Church, 312 North Pearl Street, Bridgeton on Wednesday, May 11th at 12:00 Noon. Friends will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM prior to the services at the church.
