Mrs. Judy Katherine Kilgore Owens Mauk, age 70, of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at River Run Healthcare of Coal Grove in Coal Grove, Ohio. She was born March 27, 1952 in Carter County, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Eva Thomas Kilgore. She enjoyed sewing, canning, hunting mushrooms, ginseng, killing snakes and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Randy Owens and Escue Mauk; one brother, Doug Kilgore; two sisters, Nanna Naomi Kilgore and Shirley Webb. Judy is survived by one son, Ricky (Carrie) Owens of Huntington, West Virginia; one daughter, Misty (Jeff) Irvin of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Aubrey Owens, Carson Owens, Gabriel Owens and Shelby Irvin; two brothers, Granville Kilgore of Alger, Michigan, Ernie Kilgore of Camp Dix, Kentucky; three sisters, Garnett Butler, Jewell (Lowell) Webb, and Sharon Pennington all of Olive Hill, Kentucky along with a host of many other family and friends who will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Highway 60, in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Johnny Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in the Owens Cemetery on Smokey in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
