Joseph Wolff passed away on April 29, 2022, in Hollywood, Florida due to complications from diabetes and progressive heart disease. He was 87.
Mr. Wolff was born in 1934, in Aurich, Germany to his parents, Leo and Betty (nee Stern) Wolff. In 1938, Joseph and his parents emigrated to United States and settled in Woodbine, New Jersey. He graduated from Millville High School and enrolled in RCA Television School in Camden, New Jersey. He was drafted in the Army in 1957 where he traveled throughout the country working in production of training films. In 1964, he married Marcia Wolff (nee Thompson) formerly of Atlantic City, New Jersey and resided in Margate, New Jersey. Joseph worked as an electronic technician at the FAA Technical Center in Pomona, New Jersey and retired in 2003 after 39 years of service.
Joseph and Marcia were snowbirds and spent their winters in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marcia Wolff; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Fern Wolff of Littleton, Massachusetts; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bradley Sachar of Potomac, Maryland; and three granddaughters, Sarah Sachar, Isabel Wolff, and Abby Sachar.
A graveside service will take place at Beth Kehillah Cemetery, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey on May 5, 2022, at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 www.diabetes.org/donation
