MORALES GOLDMAN, Victor Hugo, age 66, of Guatemala City, passed away on May 1, 2022 in Portland, Oregon with his family by his side. He lived a fulfilling life as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Victor Hugo was born in Guatemala City to Angel Maria Morales, and Mildred Goldman on October 4, 1955. Graduated as industrial technician from Instituto Tecnico Vocacional Dr. Imrich Fischmann in Guatemala City. Growing up, Victor spent countless weekends at his grandparent’s farm. He attended two years of Technical Engineering School at the Mariano Galvez University of Guatemala. He married the love of his life Miriam Leticia Fuentes on February 11, 1979. Victor also earned a business administration degree in Mexico City in 1979. Victor Hugo was one of the founders of Printer S.A. and Ofitecnia in Guatemala. Subsequently, started his own company Tintas, S.A. He went on to own his own restaurant and farm. Morales Goldman moved to California in 1996. Retired from the workforce after 14 years of working as a technician for Owen-Illinois in Tracy, CA in 2021. In his spare time, he was an avid chess player, innovated gadgets, and gardened. He also loved camping, boating, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Angel Maria and Mildred, and recently by his brother, Max. Victor Morales is survived by the love of his life, and spouse of 43 years, Miriam; daughter, Claudia Sanchis; sons, Angel and Victor, along with their spouses and children. Morales Goldman is also survived by his sister, Mildred, two Aunts, Helen and Adela, and several cousins. He is as well, survived by his mother-in-law, Maria; brother-in-law, Rafael; and sisters-in-law, Flor de Maria, and Belgica Maria. He will be remembered as a loving husband, outstanding father, caring grandfather and unconditional friend. Funeral Services will be held at twelve noon, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Adams Chapel at River View Cemetery. Burial will follow at River View Cemetery.
