David A. John, 61, of Shippensburg, PA passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Emergency Room of the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 25, 1960 in Chambersburg, PA he was the son of the late Donald F. “Fred” John, Sr. and Martha (Pogue) John.
He was employed for over 30 years at TB Woods, Chambersburg. David held a number of different positions there including smelter. He enjoyed antique collecting and playing video games.
David is survived by two siblings, Donald F. John, Jr. and his wife Mary of Waynesboro, PA and Angela John Wood and her husband Grant of Virginia; his step-mother, Deana Frazier John of Tyler, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Freedom in Christ Church, 4042 Sycamore Grove Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor John Pogue officiating. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
