Marion Joseph Tweedy

Marion Joseph Tweedy, 86, passed away on April 28, 2022 in Shenandoah, Texas. Marion died peacefully with his beloved wife, Sandra and their children by his side. He was born to Marion Spencer Tweedy and Dorothy Welch on March 14, 1936 in Houston, Texas. Besides dedicating his life to his family, he built a successful Sheetmetal Corporation. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He had an undeniable sense of humor. Marion was a giving man and would give the shirt off his back. He never met a stranger, ever. Marion was preceded in death by both of his parents. Left to cherish his memory include wife, Sandra Tweedy of Houston, Texas; sons, Spencer Tweedy of Spring, Texas and David Tweedy of Houston, Texas; daughters, Beatriz Ortiz of Spring, Texas, Patricia Castillo (Tony) of Spring, Texas, Joni Bradley (Steve) of The Woodlands, Texas, Christina Syptak (Greg) of The Woodlands, Texas and Pamela Rodriguez of Brenham, Texas and brother, Mike Tweedy of Columbus, Ohio along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. A graveside service for Marion will take place 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 6, 2022 at North Creek Cemetery, Centerville, Texas. A brief visitation will be held at the cemetery from 11:00 A.M. until the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
