Memorial services for Homer C. Tolbert, Jr., will be at 2PM, Saturday May 7, 2022 at Standard Baptist Church, Olla, LA, with Brother Denver McBroom officiating. Visitation will be at the Church Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5 PM until 9PM and on Saturday from 1PM until time of services. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.<br><br>Homer C. Tolbert, Jr., 74, of Olla, LA passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Haven Nursing Home, Columbia, LA.<br><br>Homer, also known as Wampus Cat in his younger years, spent the majority of his time with his daughter Tonya by his side operating his business, H&L Services where he had a great passion and love helping people by moving and relocating mobile homes. He enjoyed traveling and seeing many parts of the world. He had a lifelong love of motorcycles which grew into a grand passion where he became the sergeant at arms for a group called Bikers against Child Abuse. With the passion he became one of the original five that started the Circuit Riders where he was the road captain. Anyone who knew Homer knew he had a lead foot which is why he loved nothing more than sitting in his recliner with his dog Tuffy watching NASCAR. He was a home grown country boy who had a great love for collecting and shooting guns where he taught this love and interest to his only grandson Troy. He will be remembered for his stronghearted personality and rock-hard stubborn determination. He had a big heart and strived to help anyone who needed a loving helping hand. Homer was loved by so many. He will be dearly missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Odell Green Tolbert, stepbrothers, Daniel Dickey, Lonnie Dickey, Johnny Dickey and William Dickey.<br><br>Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Linda Tolbert of Olla, LA; his two sisters, Sandra Shelton of Georgetown, LA and Becky Frost and husband Bruce of Monroe, LA; his stepbrothers, Earl Dickey of Monroe, LA and James Dickey of Monroe, LA; his 2 daughters, “His Baby Girl” Tonya Floyd and husband Charles (Frog) of Olla, LA, Pam Smith and husband Sam of Oregon; 2 grandchildren, Troy Floyd of Olla, LA and Samantha Floyd and fiancé Khailon <br>Williams of Olla, LA.<br><br>Pallbearer will be Al Cassels escorted to the cemetery by Lee Bratton.<br>
