Bonita Starr Witherow-Heise passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Anchorage, Alaska at the age of 68. She was born in Heidelberg, Germany on October 21, 1953 to Charles and Martha Witherow. She married Carl E. Heise on November 8, 1992 in San Antonio, Texas. Together, they moved to Anchorage in July 2007. Bonnie was a woman of great faith and had the capacity for much love, which was generously shown to so many of those that knew her. She is survived by: husband Carl Heise, Craig Witherow (brother), Martha Martin Witherow (sister-in-law), and numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service has been set for Saturday, May 14 at 1PM at Anchorage Baptist Temple.
