Frances Moldow

MOLDOW, Frances (Mattaliano) age 93, a lifelong resident of Fair Lawn, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY to Salvatore and Josephine (Sarazana) Mattaliano. Before her retirement in 1989, Frances worked as an elementary school teacher for Emerson Public Schools in Emerson, NJ. She was a long-time and faithful parishioner of St. Anne’s RC Church in Fair Lawn. Frances loved her family, and especially enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Aside from her family, she volunteered her time and talents at Hackensack Medical Center, the Paramus Blood Bank, and at Fair Lawn Television where volunteers provide television programming to the residents of Fair Lawn. <br><br>Frances was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Moldow, in 2008. She leaves behind her loving children Stephen Moldow and his wife Beth of NC, James Moldow and his fiance Diane Travers of Cedar Grove, and Thomas Moldow and his wife Anne Marie, also of NC. Beloved grandmother to Jordan, Justin, Austin, Kira, Daniel, Emily, and Rachael. Cherished great-grandmother of Leo. <br><br>Funeral mass to be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 9:30 AM at St. Anne’s RC Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frances’ memory to either Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 or visit www.t2t.org, or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
