Robert Delano Marshall, as most of us have known him as “Bobby” throughout his life, was born in Washington, DC on January 14, 1953 at DC General Hospital. He was known for assisting friends and family with small and large projects, as he was very skilled with home and automobile repairs, as well as being in charge of everything, as the oldest of five siblings.

Bobby grew up and traveled all over the United States with his family. He spent the majority of his school age years in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated from high school in 1971. After graduation, he and his family then relocated to the DMV area where he began to pursue his electrical and mechanical career. In 1986, Bobby was blessed with the birth of his only son, Jamal, and the two of them were inseparable until his passing.

Bobby loved his family, especially his three grandchildren, as he was known to them as “Granddad”. All three of the grandchildren looked forward to their time with him.
