Mitch Eiken
Mr. Mitchell Drew Eiken, 57, of Jefferson City, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at River City Living Community. <br><br>Mitch was born on May 2, 1964 in Kansas City, MO to Ronald and Reva (Motter) Eiken. <br><br>He was employed with a janitorial services company and previously helped in the kitchen at St. Mary’s Hospital.<br><br>Mitch loved family gatherings and good BBQ. He also enjoyed nature, fishing and float trips. Known as a gentle giant, he was especially kind to animals.<br><br>Survivors include: Brother, Bruce Eiken (LaSondra) of Eugene; Aunt, Betty Hirschman of Osage Bend; Brother-in-law, Don Reinke of Phoenix; Nephew and Nieces, Shawn Eiken, Madison Piening, and Morgan Piening; and Great-Niece, Maci Mae Smith. <br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Reinke.<br><br>Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:30 AM Saturday, May 7, 2022. Graveside services will follow at Riverview Cemetery.<br><br>In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Compass Health Network- Community Mental Health Services.<br> <br>Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.May 2, 1964 - April 27, 202205/02/196404/27/2022
