D’Ann Jean Freeman, age 69, of Queen City, Texas, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 in a local hospital. D’Ann was born on November 25, 1952 in Norfolk, Virginia to Donald Mark and Erma Madge Burritt. D’Ann grew up in Shiprock, New Mexico and moved to East Texas in 1994. In 1996, she married the love of her life, Willie. D’Ann and Willie relocated to Queen City in 2006 where they managed the Whispering Woods Mobile Home and RV Park. She was a lover of many things. She loved fishing, gardening, and collecting antiques, especially, brass. She also enjoyed NASCAR, social networking, painting, listening to music, and watching animals from her porch. D’Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, Randal Burritt, Richard Burritt, Donald Wayne Burritt, her sister, Linda Payne, nephew, Donnie C. Burritt; niece, Jimmie Jean Burritt; and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, William “Willie” Kirby of Queen City; son, Jeremy Freeman and wife, Terri, of Queen City, TX, Sister, Marsha Forde and husband James Eddie of Childress, TX.; brothers-in-law, J.D. Dunkin and Joseph Rivers both of Shreveport, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Laura Burritt of Odessa, TX, her precious dog, Lulu, and a host of many, many, cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.November 25, 1952 - April 27, 202211/25/195204/27/2022
