Tassey, Michael "Mike"
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Mike at the Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus at the age of 68.
Mike was an avid fan of Nascar and had a passion for "Hot Rods". He also had an exuberant love for animals.
He was born July 3, 1953 in Toronto and was the son of the late Virgil and June (Kaschor) Tasevich.
Beloved husband of Jeannette (Tiborcz) Tassey.
Loving stepfather of Brenda (Mike) McLean and Bryan (Amanda) Renaud.
Sadly, missed by his grandchildren, Mack, Cam, Hudson, Bryer, Elijah, Levi, Dallin, the late Celest, Silas and Avonlee.
Dear brother of Derrick (the late Norma) and Mary Jane, and brother-in-law to; Jim (Linda) Tiborcz, John (Jackie) Tiborcz, Jackie (Fred) Miller, Joyce (Tony) Gossman, Joanne Tiborcz, the late Janice (Mike) Myers and Julie (Dave) Brown.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews, the Tiborcz family, many dear friends and especially his furry companion, Scooter.
Friends will be received at the Kendrick Funeral Home - Kingsville Celebration Centre, 91 Division Street South, Kingsville, ON (519-733-4111) on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm.
The Funeral Service for Mike will be held at the Kendrick Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11 am.
Donations in memory of Mike to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society,1375 Provincial Rd, Windsor, ON N8W 5V8, may be left at the Funeral Home.
A very special thank you to the Windsor Regional Hospital doctors and nursing staff of the ICU for all of your care and compassion shown to Mike.
