James Franklin Courtney, 91, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord Jesus on April 27, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Pamela and James Olejar; daughter Ruth Courtney; son and daughter-in-law James W. and Lisa Courtney; his four grandchildren James and Candice Olejar, Tommy Olejar and girlfriend Christina, John Dean Jones, and Mary Courtney; his two great grandchildren Indigo Olejar and Eli Olejar; sister Joan Thompson; brother Buck Courtney; brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Julie Courtney and many beloved nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Elaine Courtney; parents John T. and Dorothy Courtney; brother David Courtney, sister Mary Louise Goodman and brother Douglas Courtney.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229

Services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229. Burial will be in the Loudon Park Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
