Delores Crotts, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her residence.

     Delores was born Thursday, November 27, 1952 in Newark, New Jersey to the late James Bradley, Sr. and Inez Adams Sims. She was a fishing enthusiast and also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casino. Delores loved her family dearly and was affectionately called “MawMaw” by all who knew her. Delores had a generous heart and loved to give to those in need. She had attended Main Street Baptist Church in Spindale.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Miller; brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Bradley and a sister, Betty Gene Avant.

     Left to cherish fond memories are her daughter, Joanie West (Kevin Parker) of Forest City; brothers, Johnny Bradley and James Bradley both of Forest City and Thomas Sims (Lisbeth) of Minnesota; sisters, Patsy Reid of Forest City, Linda Schablitsky of Marshall, Minnesota, Judy Bradley of Forest City, Debbie Bradley of Hillman, Minnesota. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Gerald Miller, Jr., Kelicia Miller, Felicia Miller, Syrenity Parker, Journey Parker and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

    The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with special guest, Naviah Wingo singing, “Dancing in the Sky.” The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
