Michael Millard was a beloved Husband, Father of 3 Eagle Scouts, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle.
He was an avid sports fan; he loved his Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland A’s.  He also enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, hunting, and going to the gun range.  He was a true patriot and loved his country, he was proud to have served in military and believed it was his duty and honor.
Michael enjoyed walking his dogs and talking with his neighbors, he believed in community.   Michael was deeply involved with Scouting being a merit badge counselor, building ceremony bridges and other crossover events.  He also enjoyed mentoring youth and was a baseball coach for many years and even taking his team to the playoffs.  When he was in his youth, he loved playing baseball and swimming where he was affectionally known at “Moby”.
Michael and Wendy had a long-lasting marriage and would have been married 45 years on May 7th.  Michael had a great sense of humor, and he always reminded people they need to keep a sense of humor and displayed it such a fashion that was unique to him.
His favorite saying was:  I stand for the flag and I kneel for the cross.
