Our beloved Stephanie Anita Torres, age 38, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Alejandro "Alex" Hernandez; her children, Javan Daniel Vara and Elijah Angel Vara; her parents, Theresa Torres Vargas and Gary Benavides; the father that raised her, Jorge Vargas; the father of her children, Jose Angel Vara; her siblings, David Trevino (Nicole), John Paul Torres (Shantel), Cruz Barron (Kym), and Thomas Barron (Adrianna), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.



Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

it is recommended that you not attend services.
