James “Stykie” Lacy, Jr., 75, of Fruit Hill, KY died at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, April 27 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday April 30, 2022 at Johnson's Chapel Methodist Church in Hopkinsville. Burial will follow in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Johnson's Chapel Methodist Church from 11a.m. until the funeral hour. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Jason Taylor, Steve Morris, Jacob Sisco, Tim Graves, Kyle Graves and Cookie Draper. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements. A native of Christian County, KY he was born July 14, 1946 the son of the late James Stites Lacy, Sr. and Margie Wells Utley. “Stykie” worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was employed with the International Union of Operating Engineers. He attended Johnson's Chapel Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife: Carolyn Lacy of Fruit Hill; his sons: Darryl Lacy of Hopkinsville, James “Bubba” (Stefanie) Lacy of Fruit Hill; daughter: Lorrie (Scott) Glass of Pembroke; step-daughter Sherry (Keith) Pollock of Hopkinsville; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchild; 3 great grandchildren; 1step-great grandchild.July 14, 1946 - April 27, 202207/14/194604/27/2022
