Evan Pantoja

Evan Ulisses Pantoja was born 23 Aug 2003 in Mt Pleasant to Juan Ramon Pantoja and Alma Delia Jimenez Castillo. 
Evan was preparing to join the military after he graduated from Gunnison Valley High School and was so excited to protect this country. He was very patriotic, was a loyal son and friend who excelled in sports, theater, music, he loved motivational speaking and was an excellent artist and gardener. He was a student at Gunnison Valley High School, was working at Christensen Arms and was fascinated by the construction of firearms.  He hoped to study business and music and wanted to be an influencer and motivational speaker in the future. He was a friend to all and was loved by so many in the Gunnison and Manti Valleys.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jose Pantoja and Victor Jimenez, his grandmothers are Maria Elena Pantoja Ramos and Margarita Jimenez Castillo. He is survived by his parents Mauricio Vazquez (stepfather) and Alma Delia Jimenez Castillo Vazquez, and Juan Ramon Pantoja; his brothers and sisters: Alma Jeanette (Jenny) Pantoja of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Jeovanni Pantoja, Marilyn Campos Pantoja, Noel Pantoja, Rose Pantoja, Tania Vazquez and Karolyn Vazquez; his niece and nephews: Alexander Mora Pantoja, Juan Antonio Mora Pantoja and Elizabeth Flora Campos; and many wonderful aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Centerfield Ward Chapel.  Friends may call prior to services at the church from 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Interment will be in the Centerfield Cemetery.  Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.  Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
