Ellen (Moriarty) Guilbeault 

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister; 

Ellen A. (Moriarty) Guilbeault, 83, of Pelham, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday April 23, 2022, at Granite State VNA Hospice with her loving family by her side.

She was the loving wife of the late Donald F. Guilbeault who passed away September 4, 2012. 

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 25, 1938, the daughter of the late John and the late Anna (Regis) Moriarty, she attended St. Patrick Grammar school and St. Patrick’s Girl’s High school graduating in the Class of 1955. Ellen continued her education at UMass/Lowell and the University of New Hampshire. 

Prior to her retirement in 2002, Ellen was a Special Needs Educational Assistant at the Ernest G Sherburne school in Pelham, NH, for over 28 years. 

Her pride and joy were the moments and memories made with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dog. This included teaching them all to read, making crafts and silly videos, cookies and pies during the holidays and never missing a Red Sox game or episodes of Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy. Her love, patience and compassion for others are qualities that she instilled with everyone she met.  

Ellen is survived by four children Don Guilbeault and his wife Cynthia of Pelham, NH, Deb Clark of Alton, NH, Karen Phelps and her husband Brian of Canterbury, NH, and Patricia Marchi of Pelham, NH; nine grandchildren Robert Guilbeault and his wife Payel, Tahlor DiCicco and her husband Tony, Tyler Guilbeault and his wife Kimberly, Kyle Phelps and Jen, Samantha Phelps, McKenzie Phelps, Daniel Marchi, Ashley Clark and Kirstie Clark; five great grandchildren Indira, Amisha, Pria, Charlotte and Cameron; her sister Ann Marie Duggan of Hampton Beach, NH; two sister -in-laws Cathy Moriarty of Lowell and Sandra Moriarty of Somerville; her brother-in-law Robert Guilbeault and his wife Mary of Dracut; and many nieces and nephews. 

Ellen was the grandmother of the late Eric Marchi, foster mother of the late Steve Tryon; and sister of the late John, George and Robert Moriarty.  

Friends may call Friday April 29, 2022, at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home Saturday morning April 30, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. followed by burial in the Gibson Cemetery.
