Logan Mack

Logan Mack, age 26 of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Webster City, IA, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital. A private service will be held at a later date. Foster Funeral & Cremation Center is caring for Logan and his family.<br><br> Logan David Mack was born on February 8, 1996, at Memorial Mission Hospital, in Asheville, NC, to Gary Mack and Christy Seay Worley. He resided in Canton, NC, until moving to Webster City, IA, at a young age where he attended school.<br><br> Logan was passionate about learning all things related to both Fire & Rescue and First Responder fields. He volunteered for the Canton Fire Department where he admired the hard work put in and strived to help anyone in need. Logan loved automotive repair and working with electronics. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved exploring the woods and new areas while camping and fishing. Most of all, he loved his friends and family dearly and time spent with them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. <br><br> Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Riku David Mack of Eldora, IA; father and stepmother Gary and Michele Mack of Webster City, IA; brother Justin Mack of Webster City, IA; stepsisters Bethanie (Brett) Ratcliff of Webster City, IA, Ashley Scott of Ferguson, MO, and Tahra (Lex) Scott-Helton of Webster City, IA; grandparents Claudia and David Seay of Newport, TN, Linda and Roger Trull of Clyde, NC, and Gary Mack of Sylva, NC; aunts and uncles Wenzel (Mark) Willis of Newport, TN, Kerry Mack of Clyde, NC, Josie (John) Tannehill of Candler, NC, and Bryan (Jodi) Allen of Waynesville, NC; step-grandparents Cheryl Bateman of Williams, IA, Gary (Angela) Obrecht of Webster City, IA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.<br><br> Logan was preceded in death by his mother, Christy Seay Worley; great-grandparents Charles and Hazel Goodson; and great-aunt Charlene Warren.
