She also enjoyed traveling with family and friends over the years to many of our National Parks, Europe and one of her most recent, a driving trip through Virginia with Ted learning some of the history of the Kesler family. Pat loved being at the farm and in the timber burning sticks at the Point.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Layne (Beatriz) Kesler of Oakland, CA, Dawn (Jenny) Kesler of Webster City, Kate (Eric) Anderson of Webster City, Chris (Jill) Kesler of Cypress, TX, Carrie (Jerry) Swearingen of Cypress, TX; great nieces and great nephews, Kathryn Kesler, Jackson Kesler, Ethan Anderson, Owen Anderson, Abigail Swearingen, Colin Kesler, Alexandra Kesler and Emmet Anderson, sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (David) Weieneth of Webster City, Josie Kesler of Cypress, TX and Cheryl Noller Kesler McCleary of Dillion, CO, her lifelong Iowa State friends and special friend, Millie Mandernach.

Memorials will be used to plant a variety of fruit trees and hardwood trees around the farm.

Pat wasn’t frilly and specified in her wishes that her services be a casual event, an Iowa State t-shirt would be preferred over anything fancy.
